On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Brisbane-based team. This is a high-visibility, autonomous role focused on driving revenue through direct end-user sales and the cultivation of strategic channel partnerships.
The successful candidate will act as a key representative of the business, identifying and closing opportunities within the IT asset lifecycle and providing clients with peace of mind regarding data security.
Revenue Generation: Achieve territory sales and margin targets through proactive lead generation and robust pipeline management.
Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and grow relationships with major IT vendors, leasing companies, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
Solution Selling: Present a comprehensive suite of services, including Managed Deployment, Asset Recovery, and On/Off-site Data Security.
Bid Management: Lead the response process for major tenders and panel arrangements.
Account Growth: Manage and scale a portfolio of high-value new and existing enterprise accounts.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven IT sales experience within the Australian market.
The "Hunter" Mentality: A self-motivated, result-oriented professional with a consistent track record of exceeding KPIs.
Communication: High-level negotiation skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and technical partners.
Systems Literacy: Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM) and the MS Office suite.
Compliance Awareness: An understanding of international data security standards and environmental recycling certifications.
